The Miyaru Programme is a national NGO focused on studying the predatory shark species of the Maldives and Indian Ocean. We seek to advance shark research and conservation through providing a platform for scientific collaboration and training, facilitating access to new scientific technologies, as well as conducting community-outreach and education for local communities and visitors.
